"Hunger is the biggest problem in India" - India ranks 105th out of 127 countries in the 2024 Global Hunger Index with a score of 27.3, indicating serious hunger levels.
A 2022 study by the Tata-Cornell Institute found that 51% of urban slum households in Delhi experienced food insecurity.
Over 57% of women (aged 15-49 years) in India suffer from anemia, which is a direct indicator of poor nutritional status and is far higher than the rate for men (25%).

Nana Ki Rasoi is named after my grandfather, the one person who taught me that food is more than sustenance; it’s love, care, and community. His kitchen was always open. He had a way of giving more than anyone expected; making space for one more plate, one more story, one more person.
This initiative is my way of carrying that spirit forward, turning his everyday generosity into something that continues to nourish others, one meal at a time…
